Submission to the Telecommunications and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2025

The Independent National Security Legislation Monitor, Jake Blight, has made a submission to the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security review of the Telecommunications and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2025.The Monitor’s submission comments on aspects of the Bill that relate to the independent review of the Surveillance Legislation Amendment (Identify and Disrupt) Act 2021 (Cth) (SLAID Act).
