Submission to Secrecy Provisions Amendment Bill 2026

The Independent National Security Legislation Monitor, Jake Blight, has made a submission to the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee review of the Secrecy Provisions Amendment (Repealing Offences) Bill 2026. The Monitor’s submission comments on aspects of the Bill that relate to the independent review of Secrecy Offences – Review of Part 5.6 of the Criminal Code Act 1995 (INSLM Secrecy Review).
