Previous review: 2009 AGD Discussion Paper

In 2009, the Attorney-General’s Department developed a Discussion Paper following several independent and bipartisan parliamentary committee reviews of Australia’s national security and counterterrorism laws. The Discussion Paper discussed proposed government amendments to national security and counterterrorism laws.

Chapter 1, Part 3 of the AGD Discussion Paper explores the definition of a ‘terrorist act’.
